Question 1

What is Chapter?

Accepted Answer

Chapter is a private immigration-history organiser for iPhone. It helps you keep travel, addresses, visas and status, immigration applications, passports, employment, education and other long-term records together. You can also keep simple Family profiles separately from your own history.

Question 2

How can I keep track of my travel history?

Accepted Answer

Add trips as you take them, or help reconstruct older journeys from spreadsheets and boarding-pass barcodes. You review and confirm what is saved.

Question 3

Can I import old travel records?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Chapter can import CSV files and match common columns to its travel fields. Nothing becomes saved history without your confirmation.

Question 4

What can I keep in Family?

Accepted Answer

Chapter lets you keep simple profiles for a partner or child, separate from your own personal history.

Question 5

What is Ask Chapter?

Accepted Answer

Ask Chapter is an optional beta feature. It uses Apple Intelligence on supported iPhones to help answer questions about the history you've recorded. It is off by default on a new install and can be turned on in Settings → Privacy.

Question 6

Does boarding-pass reading use Apple Intelligence?

Accepted Answer

No. Boarding-pass reading uses Apple's built-in barcode and PDF tools on the device. Ask Chapter is a separate optional beta feature that can use Apple Intelligence on supported iPhones. A boarding pass is not proof of immigration entry, and connecting legs can be grouped into a possible journey. You review facts before saving.

Accepted Answer

No. Chapter does not send Ask Chapter conversations or history to ChatGPT, to a Chapter-operated AI server, or to a third-party AI provider. Chapter does not save Ask Chapter conversations.

Question 8

Accepted Answer

Question 9

Is Chapter a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. You get 30 days of full access, then Lifetime Access is an optional one-time £2.99 purchase. There is no automatic charge.
