Chapter

Terms of Use

Chapter helps you maintain your own personal history. These terms explain what the app does, and what it does not promise.

Effective 30 August 2026

Your information

You are responsible for entering, reviewing and maintaining accurate information. Chapter's History Check identifies basic gaps and date conflicts only.

Imports and boarding passes

CSV import, boarding-pass reading and document reconstruction assist data entry but do not verify facts. Connecting flights may be grouped into a possible journey. Chapter does not verify document authenticity, airline records, immigration entry, length of stay or status. Document suggestions may be incomplete or wrong, so you review and confirm what becomes history. The Privacy Policy explains how shared source files are handled.

No legal advice

Chapter does not provide legal or immigration advice, determine eligibility or guarantee an application outcome. Chapter is not affiliated with a government or immigration authority.

Generated documents

The Immigration History PDF and CSV files reflect user-maintained personal history. Review all information before using it for an official purpose.

iCloud and availability

Private iCloud Sync depends on Apple services, your iCloud account, your connection and your device settings, so it may occasionally be unavailable. Full Data Export lets you make your own copy of all Chapter data.

Purchases

New users receive 30 days of full free access. When those 30 days end, Chapter does not charge you automatically. You can continue using Chapter by buying Lifetime Access once for £2.99. It is not a subscription. Apple handles the purchase, restore and any applicable refund through the App Store.

Software availability

Chapter is provided as a personal organisation tool. Features may be maintained or improved while preserving reasonable access to locally stored records and user-controlled exports.
